Lisa Davis likes to say that yoga found her. In a relatively short time, she went from resisting yoga to embracing it, and has become a significant part of Cleveland's growing yoga community.
After being a full-time mom for more than a decade, she dove into several immersion weekends with Jonny Kest and subsequently took Tami Schneider's teacher training graduating in 2010. Recently, she completed Baron Baptiste's Level One training which has enabled her to be more passionate and confident about her teaching.
Lisa's energetic, yet compassionate teaching style often leaves students wanting to know more about yoga. She believes that everyone has more strength than they realize and helps them move through barriers that hold them back. Her classes can be playful, but always challenging.
“I am inspired by the dedication of our teachers, but even more by the students who put themselves out there daily.” Also, she is inspired by her supportive husband Grant, an avid yogi, and their three amazing children Kirby, Quinn & Trey. “Yoga has become such a big part of who I am today. I've found physical and inner strength as well as peace from my practice and teaching.”
