Stand in the Light w/ Ted Lardner & Parker Bean | April 15th
Dedicate your practice to benefit the Seva Foundation
Join Ted and Parker for a special 90-minute, donation-based class featuring your favorite songs from the Grateful Dead and others.
Seva (say-va) is a Sanskrit word for service. Formed in 1978 with a mission to alleviate suffering caused by disease and poverty, Seva works in nine countries in addition to the U.S. in the areas of health and wellness, community development, environmental protection and cultural preservation. (www.Seva.org)
Seva counts among its founding supporters spiritual teacher Ram Dass, activist Wavy Gravy, and Grateful Dead guitarist, Bob Weir.
“The most I’ve ever amounted to is through concerted effort with other people. The better I can do for them, the better they’ll do for me, in general and in specific. That’s been a pretty consistent lesson life’s been hammering me with.”–Bob Weir, guitarist, Grateful Dead
Journey through a joyful vinyasa flow into hip-openers and restorative poses in an integrative practice that will shine with the spirit of seva, service, our deepest connection to others. At the end of class, stay for raffle prizes including a pair of lawn tickets to The Dead and Company at Blossom and a gift certificate for a 60-minute massage with Sophia at CY!
Donations can be made day of via cash or check (made out to Seva Foundaton).SIGN UP
