Our Cleveland Yoga community has been so lucky to have experienced Parker Bean for the past 10 years. She is beyond special to us and a rare gem. Her classes have challenged us to physical edges and her words have brought us to emotional and spiritual breakthroughs.
We want to share with you that Parker’s life adventures will continue in Columbus, OH with her family. We will miss her dearly and you can still catch her Saturdays and Sundays at the Beachwood studio with her final farewell class on Sunday, October 4th. Below is a note from Parker.
Thank you to all of you who have been a part of my journey here at Cleveland Yoga. I feel so blessed to have been a part of this amazing community. Cleveland Yoga is my home and it always will be. Thank you Tami for believing in me. I still remember the day over ten years ago when I asked her if I could work at CY. I started by hanging out at the studio every day, cleaning mats and running errands. I wanted to be at the studio more than anywhere else, so that is what I did. I just hung around and worked hard until one day, Diana gave me the opportunity to teach her class. I discovered that teaching is a way to give back the gift that was given to me. Teaching is also a way to receive the gift again. I will never stop teaching. I will never stop sharing and learning. Thank you to all who have shared this experience over the years, whether we’ve practiced together the entire time or just for a short period. I feel so humbled to be a part of something that has changed so many lives. It has changed mine. I’m eternally grateful. I will miss you all, and one of the beautiful things of yoga is that once you experience it, it becomes yours forever no matter where you go.”
