Our yoga teacher training program at Cleveland Yoga is a unique experience that will elevate your practice and give you the tools you need to teach with confidence. We’ve compiled a list of questions that often come up…read through them, and if you still have questions, contact us!
Tami Schneider has spent 25-plus years studying and teaching various wellness and fitness disciplines beyond Baptiste yoga, including Joga (Yoga for Athletes) and Werner Erhard’s Effective Exercise of Leadership Program. Tami’s style of teaching and leadership has made Cleveland Yoga’s teacher training a high-demand program that draws students from across the country. She has certified nearly 500 yoga teachers and trained thousands of yoga teachers within the U.S. and abroad as a prestigious member of the Baptiste Yoga Global Leader/Teacher Faculty.
Other Cleveland Yoga, Baptiste and specialty experts will be called in throughout each program to share their knowledge in their respective fields.

Throughout each day, you can expect one or two sweaty yoga practices, meditation, group discussions, journaling and partner work. You will also receive assignments and a Community Outreach Project as part of Cleveland Yoga Gives Back program to complete.
No! Any yogi of any level is eligible to complete this program. Just show up, committed to learning, growing and being coached!
A journal and pen; yoga mat and practice towel; change of clothes, towel and toiletries; water and healthy snacks.
This extended and intensive program is appropriate for those who live outside the Northeast Ohio and Cleveland areas. While you make your own travel arrangements, Cleveland Yoga can provide you with any suggestions on accommodations during your stays in our area. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sessions are held at our Cleveland Yoga Beachwood and Barre studios.
100% attendance is required. Sessions begin on time and students are expected to be present and prepared. Any student who fails to attend a session without notification is assumed withdrawn from the program. In the event of a medical disability, a leave of absence will be granted. With a leave of absence, the student may reapply for the next available training and apply their credit for missed sessions towards this training.
Essentially, we require 100% commitment from you, which means you must:
- Show up fully present
- Arrive on time to all sessions
- Be open and coachable
- Be ready for new experiences
Cancellation of sessions due to weather may occur. Additional hours may be added to the program if a cancellation is necessary. Additional hours may also be added if an opportunity for a workshop that compliments the training becomes available. We will give you the most advanced notice as possible to make arrangements if this occurs.
Yes. However, any missed hours must be completed before graduation. If the instructor is required to spend time with the student to cover missed information, a fee of $75/hour applies. Students who fail to hold make-up sessions or pay their fee will be dismissed from the program.
You can pay in three installments:
- * $1,185 – due January 19, 2019
- * $1,185 – due on February 11, 2019
- * $1,185 – due on March 11, 2019
If choosing the payment plan and your application is submitted before January 1st, you must pay at a minimum the $250 non-refundable application fee. Please contact Erin (email@example.com) only to request to be on the payment plan.
* Your balance must be paid in full in order to receive your 200 hour teaching certificate.
A minimum of 10 registrants is required for program to take place.
