Why did you start practicing yoga: To create a connection between my mind and my body

Mantra or daily affirmation: "When you are creating something from your own divine energy, how could that be wrong?"

Favorite book: I'm honestly awful at reading books. My attention span is similar to that of a squirrels

What informs your practice: My belief that everyone deserves a space to truly be themselves and leave everything else at the door

Your advice for beginner yogis: Be messy, be fearless, keep trying over and over and over again!

Your practice is never going to look like anyone else's, so feel empowered to make it entirely your own.

3 words to describe you: Free-spirited, inclusive, silly!

The pose that challenges you the most: Ardha Chandrasana or Half Moon Pose

The best advice you've ever received: Not everyone is going to like you no matter what you do, so why waste time trying to be anyone else?

What's your teaching style: I would say my teaching style is fun and light-hearted, empowering, strengthening, community-building, and inclusive! I always make sure to provide options and modifications so my students feel empowered. And I always make sure to have an awesome playlist ready ;)

What do you do for fun: Cooking! Food is a huge passion of mine and I feel the most creative when I am in the kitchen creating something delicious that I know will nourish myself and my loved ones! I also love music and spending time outside. I could walk around my neighborhood in Ohio City for hours on a beautiful sunny day.

What are you most grateful for: I am most grateful for my friends, family and my community. Humans are SO multi-dimensional and complex and it is so important to have people that support you in the different areas of your life you feel passionate about!

What brings you peace: Knowing that at the end of the day I have a roof over my head and a bed to sleep in

Where is your happy place: At the beach or on my mat!

Who/what inspires you the most: I am inspired by so many different people! I am inspired by happiness seekers and those who live their lives with resiliency and as the most authentic version of themselves
