21-Day Group Cleanse

Jenn Harte, Cleveland Yoga Teacher & Nutrition Consultant, has designed her Happy Eating, Heathy Eating Group Cleanse Program to be more than a cleanse, but a lifestyle transformation.

The first week of the program, Part 1, will focus on food education and suggested eliminations. Removing the burden of certain foods on the digestive system and liver will provide participants with a clean slate, like hitting the reset button.  Foods eliminated in Part 1 include: refined sugars, alcohol, caffeine, dairy, animal meats, eggs, gluten grains, gmo and non-organic foods.  The group goal is the introduction of whole foods and a wealth of micronutrients (vitamins, minerals and antioxidants) our bodies crave and need to function optimally.

Part 2 will round out the last two weeks of the program, keeping most eliminations consistent, however, reintroducing clean proteins (customizable by the participants).  This includes the options to add grass-fed meats, pastured poultry and eggs, as well as wild fish and shellfish. We will shift towards a heavier focus on macronutrients, what they are, what is essential, and bust myths on fats, carbohydrates and proteins.

Through this entire process, participants will be supportive of each other AND guided step-by-step with Jenn.  The Cleanse Program includes:

  • 1 60-minute Introduction and preparation meeting.  This will take place on Wednesday January 9th.  Day 1 of the cleanse will be Saturday, January 12th.

  • 4 90-minute weekly group meetings including yoga, educational topics, Q&A and cleanse-friendly treats.

  • Daily emails from Jenn, providing education and motivation.

  • A private Facebook group page to share experiences and recipes.

  • A fully customized program manual including education content relevant to our weekly discussions, daily meal planning and over 50 cleanse friendly recipes!

At the conclusion of the program, the body will be rested, toxic burden lightened, sugar cravings diminished and possible weight-loss.  It is expected that participants gain a greater connection with the body, acquire the education needed to make healthy decisions in the future and ultimately change the course of their life to one of less dis-ease to one of more vibrancy.

Meeting Dates:

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9th 7:00 – 8:00pm: Cleanse Prep Meeting: This is an important meeting to attend to set the goals and expectations of the program, to get to know each other, answer questions and receive the program booklet.

SATURDAYS, JANUARY 12th, 19th, 26th & FEBRUARY 2nd 12:30 – 2:00pm: Cleanse Program Group Meetings. Every meeting will begin promptly with 30-minutes of light yoga movement and themed intentions (please arrive 10-15 minutes early to set-up).  Our group meetings will follow, designed to be group check-ins, answer questions and educational discussions.  Every meeting will have a group snack provided!
