Lauren Ilacqua

Lauren’s love of movement began long before yoga. Growing up as a dancer, she was naturally drawn to the balance, flexibility, and physical challenge that yoga offered. What began as a way to move her body eventually became a much deeper practice—one that continues to support her mental well-being, active lifestyle, and overall health.

Lauren completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Tami Schneider at Cleveland Yoga in 2025 and is currently pursuing her 300-hour certification through Cleveland Yoga, with graduation expected in 2026. She has also completed Karen Fabian’s Yoga Anatomy Accelerator program, expanding her knowledge of functional movement, anatomy, and intelligent sequencing.

Lauren began teaching in December 2025 and joined the teaching team at Cleveland Yoga in June 2026. Her classes are rooted in the Baptiste methodology and include both Power Vinyasa and Slow Flow. She believes in meeting students where they are while encouraging them to explore their edge. Expect intentional sequencing, clear and accessible cueing, opportunities to challenge yourself, and options that make the practice approachable for all experience levels. Lauren encourages students to discover both effort and ease, building strength, resilience, and confidence along the way.

Outside the studio, Lauren enjoys running, cycling, walking her dog, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her husband and son. She is passionate about living a healthy, active lifestyle and believes movement is one of the most powerful tools for supporting both physical and mental wellness.

Lauren has been practicing at Cleveland Yoga since 2018 and is honored to now teach in the community that helped shape her own journey as both a student and teacher. She completed her teacher training at Cleveland Yoga and values the meaningful relationships she has built there over the years. Her goal is for every student to leave class feeling confident, capable, and empowered—both on and off the mat.
