Years teaching yoga at Cleveland Yoga: 16 years

Teaching Style: My goal for every class is to leave practitioners feeling complete and balanced, both physically and mentally. Sequencing is often unique, athletic, and powerful, combined with moments of space and ease. We have 60 minutes to move, breathe, and leave it all on the mat.

What students can expect in my class: Whether it's power yoga or yoga sculpt, all classes start with a calm energy and gradually build with upbeat music that matches the intensity of the movement. By the end of class, we fully embrace the calm that comes with hip openers and savasana. The whole experience is designed to be well-rounded, blending sweaty fun with grounding relaxation.

Personal Inspiration: I truly love the journey of the practice – whether it's a 60-minute class or the lessons I've accumulated over the years as both a student and a teacher. It never gets old, and even after 20 years of practice, I continue to learn more about the body, the postures, myself, and how I can continue to make an impact in our yoga community. As a teacher, I've seen countless transformations in the practitioners at Cleveland Yoga, and it’s been a privilege to be part of their journey. Even the smallest contribution to their growth inspires me to stay committed to being the best teacher and friend I can be.

Outside the Studio: Outside the studio, my top priorities are family, making delicious food for my husband and son, and enjoying quality, meaningful time with them here in Cleveland and at our favorite little lake home escape in Lake Geneva, WI.

What makes CY special and the best? Cleveland Yoga was the first studio I called home, where I felt I could be myself and be fully accepted. It was also a place that challenged me and brought out my very best as a person and teacher. I can only hope to pass on that sense of belonging and personal power to every student who practices with me.
