Welcome to Prodigy – Cleveland Yoga’s youth certification program, for ages 15-19.
 
Recent studies show that our younger generations’ mental well-being took the biggest hit from the pandemic. The powerful alignment techniques and mindfulness of yoga have the opportunity to help our youngest athletes and youth to care for their minds and bodies. This program is for young athletes who are in the development of their craft. Whether they are ballers, golfers, gymnasts, swimmers, tennis, artistry, dance, etc., -- the intention of this training is to empower the greatness that lies within the layers of our next generation of leaders, innovators and those preparing to inspire.
 
PROGRAM SESSIONS:
All live/in-person sessions will be held at Cleveland Yoga in Beachwood, OH
Some early morning discussions will be held online.
This program will be recorded via zoom and can be taken fully online.
Upon registration and full commitment to the program, you will attend a variety of classes during the week to gain a better understanding of the various styles of yoga.

Meet and greet; group yoga practice; program logistics
and introductions of team and curriculum, including review of pre-program assignments.

THU., JUNE 20 THRU SAT., JUNE 29, 2024
8am-6pm | NO CLASS on Tuesday, June 25 - DAY OFF
 
SUN., JUNE 30, 2024
9am-3pm
Celebration, presentations, community contributions, wrap-up and closing appreciations.
 
PRACTICES AND DISCUSSIONS WILL INCLUDE INTENSIVE WORK OF:

Practice teaching the physical poses and healthy sequencing for strength and flexibility; anatomy sessions; alignment for injury prevention as well as recovery; meditation and breath work for stress management; positive thinking, self care, how yoga curbs anxiety and enhance pre-performance focus; and personal inquiry for optimal mental health; the history and philosophies of yoga; and leadership with true integrity.
